  Yes, 9 Elements will be available at your local retailer. If you can't find it in stores, your favorite 9 Elements products are available for purchase at www.nine-elements.com soon.

• Is 9 Elements available outside the U.S?

  As of this time, you can only purchase 9 Elements within the United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

• Can I use the laundry detergent in my high efficiency  / HE machine? 

  Yes, our laundry detergent is formulated to work in all types of washing machines.

• Can I use the purifying softener in my high efficiency / HE machine?

  Yes, our purifying softener is formulated to work in all types of washing machines.

• Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

  Yes, Nine Elements laundry detergents, purifying softeners, and dish soaps are dermatologist tested to be gentle on sensitive skin.

• Why is 9 Elements different than my DIY solution?

  When you make vinegar + water sprays or solutions at home, you’re able to harness the natural power of vinegar – but the benefit is only temporary. Since vinegar is a weak acid, it loses a lot of its cleaning power when mixed with water. Without a few more ingredients like we have in 9 Elements – you’re not getting close enough to the power possible.

• What percentage of 9 Elements products are plant based?

  We seek to use plant based ingredients wherever possible while still delivering the clean you deserve. 95% of the ingredients in our laundry detergents, purifying softeners and dish soap are plant derived and subjected to processing. 65% of the ingredients in our multipurpose cleaners and bathroom cleaners are plant derived and subject to processing.

• Are any of 9 Elements' products USDA Certified?

  Yes, our Laundry Detergents are 50% USDA Biobased Certified, Purifying Softeners are 95% USDA Biobased Certified and Multipurpose Cleaners are 65% USDA Biobased Certified.

• Do 9 Elements products leave behind a vinegar smell?

  Nope! Although we use the cleaning power of vinegar, our scientists have discovered the right combination of ingredients so there is no vinegar odor left behind, only the gentle scent of our essential oils like Lemon Essential Oil from cold-pressed lemon peel and Eucalytpus.

• Can I use 9 Elements Laundry Detergent in cold water?

  Yes! One of our principles is to formulate our products with the environment in mind, so we’ve made sure our laundry products work in cold water – saving you money on your energy bill and reducing your family’s environmental footprint.

• Can I use 9 Elements Purifying Softener in cold water?

• How much 9 Elements Laundry Detergent should I use per load?

  For regular load, fill to 2nd bar. For larger loads, please fill to 3rd bar or more. Not intended to use with Rayon fabrics. Contains fragrance allergens. DO NOT use with bleach.

• Can I use 9 Elements Bathroom and Multipurpose Spray on all surfaces?

  While our products are safe on a multitude of surfaces like ceramic, tile, porcelain, stainless steel, granite, hardwood and others, we recommend that you do not use the bathroom cleaner or multipurpose spray on natural stone surfaces like limestone or marble. If you are unsure about a surface material, always test the product in a small, inconspicuous area first.

• Can I use the liquid dish soap on all dishes?

  Yes! 9 Elements liquid dish soap is safe for use on all glassware, Tupperware, and silverware. Do not use 9 Elements liquid dish soap in the dishwasher.

• How do I recycle the 9 Elements bottles?

  We encourage you to take a sustainable step in recycling 9 Elements bottles in the right way. Before recycling please ensure your bottle is empty and the cap is removed.
